Selena Gray

I have worked in both inpatient psychiatry as well as private practice for over eighteen years (established in 2008). For five years I worked as a clinical therapist at an inpatient facility, which gave me a profound respect for the chemical side of our brain structure and how essential medications can be to our health. Simultaneously, my experience in private practice and relational psychoanalytic thought have  taught me how deeply our relationships and environments impact our lives in ways we may not understand until we listen closely. As part of my professional development I have completed my own relational psychoanalysis, yoga teacher training, a two year energetic systems course and served on the board of the Puget Sound Group Psychotherapy Network. Areas of interest for me over the last five years have included studying the connection of healing our physical and energetic bodies in synchronicity with our minds, the pioneering work of psychedelics in healing trauma and the exploration of sleep as the cornerstone of our health. I am currently pursuing additional training as a Perinatal Mental Health Certification as I work with many pregnant women and new moms. Outside of work I try to spend as much time as possible in the healing presence of nature with my family and friends.
